Glenn Beck’s “Handlers” frantically try to Scrub Clean Evidence

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

In the wake of the controversy over the allegations of whether Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990, Glenn Beck and his handlers are in the process of trying to shut down people’s first amendment rights and freedom to search for the truth. Certainly does not sound like someone who claims to “love” his country.

While no one is saying that Beck did commit these atrocious crimes, more questions have been raised with his continued silence while his handler’s claim that the site in question should be closed. In the complaint sent, it notes:

“The Domain Name gleenbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com fully incorporates and is confusingly similar to trademarks in which Complainants [Glenn Beck and Mercury Radio Inc.] own rights …” (emphasis added)

Confusingly similar? I’m not saying that there is any truth to this rumour, but it does make you wonder why Glenn Beck would claim to have any “similarities” to it, unless there was any truth to it.

On Glenn Beck’s show on September 8th, short of admitting or rejecting these allegations – as any America-loving-person who did not rape or murder a girl in 1990 would obviously do – Beck informed his viewer that he used to experience blackouts, thereby keeping open the possibility that he did rape and murder a girl in 1990 . No one is claiming to have all the facts. All we are doing is asking questions. Sadly, if with this in mind maybe even Glenn Beck will never know the truth.

Plane Hijacked in Mexico

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Boeing 737 Aeromexico  plane has been hijacked in Mexico with up to 104 passengers. Apparently the three hijackers are threatening to blow it up unless they get to speak to the president of Mexico.

The plane is currently landed in Mexico City.

It is live right now on CNN with Rick Sanchez translating the news to for us English speakers. Here is a link to the live feed.

Reports are saying that the passengers have been released. Interviews with some passengers note that most were not aware that the plane was hijacked. All passengers will be separated into groups and interviewed to make sure that there aren’t any of the hijackers pretending to be passengers.

Update: there were 5 suspected hijackers and they have been taken into custody. And they didn’t have a bomb.

Twitter down? – 503 error or “This page is not available”

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

It has almost become second-nature to me to immediately go to Twitter to find out what is happening with a site when it has gone down.  But it appears that Twitter has been on and off for the last day. When not working, you see a message that says “HTTP Server Error 503 No available server to handle this request”, which basically means:

“The Web server (running the Web site) is currently unable to handle the HTTP request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server.”

So.. too many tweets or someone is working on it. Or too many tweets AND someone is working on it.

If you are lucky, you may even come across the other boring standard message:

Whiter the cute whale?

So what am I supposed to do now? TechCrunch provides a great list of suggestions to abide your time while waiting patiently for Twitter to return.

Hopefully, Twitter will update their blog soon to let us know what’s going on, because it is getting pretty annoying. I hope Rick Sanchez’s show isn’t ruined too much because of this.
